The completed John K Compostion (I'm trying my hardest)

OK! This is the big wave! I'm going to try and do at least two of John K's compositions posts and draw a mangrove from a nature card I have. I'll be writing as I do it. I'm starting at 7:05pm. right now I'm measuring the frame around the picture, I'll do this to get the most similar size to the actually objects. I've found it at 7:18, so I'll start.

The one before this was thee original fish, but I noticed I missed some things, and after reading this I wanted to make my dust puffs more 3D so there, sue me if that's cheating!
Oh suck! I lowered it! and the boy's head is too small while nightmare's is too big. Night's neck is too thin too and his negative space is too cramped Give me a minute and I'll fix as much as I can.
Done, there are other things but the important part is identifying it right?
Next, I think I should try Yogi, from a previous post.
Even the bubble I guess. It should be easier because I've got John's comp as a guide?...


OK starting off, Yogi gets the same treatment. I'll try to do this more quickly than the other because my laptop's power keeps slowing down making it really annoying to work especially since it's 12:40
This took a lot less time!
I've never drawn Yogi, so I will consult the composition drawings JohnK made.
