MR. ROBOTO

OK! Here's my post after months! Finally I'm back and not tired!

I started off with this Tom & Jerry cover I did a few studies here...

I got bored after a few days, (For some reason Blogger has screwed me over the colors)
Now these...

I did Madam Mim! I had a crush on her that week

I didn't even scan this onto the comp until last night. What I'm pissed about is I'm still too cooped up to try and paint anything yet! I'm totally freaked!

Mim again, I wanted to actually paint this one.

Link and Maple from Zelda!!! (Will ink) I've wanted to draw link for a while and Maple for months! and now I can get rid of all the reference pics I got. Two of them.

I like this second one the most, but the first one is real nice too!

Now we get to Golem II made after one of my favorite musical jumbles It's not a song it's kinda like random carnival music. (Will ink)

I also inked this George Liquor but once again blogger is f-ing me on the ink color if anyone has info (Nico) please help me fix this!!!

And I liked this inking too!!!

Then i drew Johnny Socko (Will ink) but not his giant robot and not his tall buddy from the agency. I don't know why but the kids parents were like nowhere on the boat and it sinks, but they're gone!

This is a hellishly long post now Ed Benedict, not really studies, I just had fun drawing them!

I like the girl's dress.

Then there's these weird guys...

Here's Ryo, he's crazy. He's a the drummer in the Manga Bremen and he's like the cat and junk. I think I posted this here already....

And this girl, tropical, I was trying weird things with drawing and I like how she's just there. (Will ink)

Then long ago I made this one. The second kid is butters from South Park. I drew him like that cause he's gay. (Will ink)

Ruby Gloom!
Must ink!!!

One of My favorite cute characters, the show's animators don't do her justice, She's cooler than the ice box! This looks nothing like her though. I drew her in a way I think she would have looked in the long long ago time. I'm going to have to ink this and enjoy it! There's no way out of it!!!

Nico needs new font and color too! Ay Nico? You remember the art trade right? Here's my side A. If you didn't get the memo I wanted both of us to do two drawings.

Part 1) We both take one character that we absolutely adore whether it be cuteness funniness or some other nonsense.

Part 2) We draw them in some new design (Maybe they're older, maybe they've undergone some makeover) but they have to be recognizable.

Part 3) We e-mail them to each other and they have to draw a version of the first version! (same rules as part 2 citing the original would probably help a lot)

I wanted the see what the end product would be I just know it's gonna have a fun look. Also can you ask Ben to join in? I'm giving him a choice, but your presently a hostage! I got this Idea when I saw his drawing of Poison Ivy, but being as antisocial as I am I'm a little intimidated to ask him personally. I don't think he knows me just yet.

Now a closet monster.

RAWR!

Great job on everything here! Everything is very cute. Love the Butters (is that the very feminine-looking character in the rainbow shirt? haha)

Ok I am ready for the art trade, sure. So wait what character am I supposed to draw? We should talk about it over IMs

also regarding Ben, i'm sure he'll be into the idea. He's here in LA for the next week and half and hanging out with me, so it'll be a little while til we're both online again. I'll mention something to him in person, if anything.

p.s.
Whoa, who's Madam Mim?? Looks like from one of the late 60s Disney xerox features.. I must have missed that character. She's a cutie!

Good! Good!! The art trade will be a most definite success then! Guaranteed!

Madam Mim is from The Sword in the Stone of 1963! It was injected into my childhood like a rattlesnake's poison! It's one of my most favorites!

Good luck with getting Ben in on the idea!

Poor Butters. Always saw him as adorably naive then flat out gay, but your take on him's still great.

So's that take on Ruby Gloom. They used to air that show all the time here so I've seen a bit of it... The 2nd pic you did of her kinda reminds me of Pippi Longstockings. Still cool!

Hey funzo! Thanks for the comment! On Butters I don't think he's actually gay but in adulthood he'd probably get a sex change because of peer pressure.

And I noticed Ruby looked like Pippy too! I liked it so I kept it but I think Ruby looks like she'd be more vicious against the neighborhood kids.
